Abstract

The article focuses on the education in the U.S. It notes that a Master of Arts degree carries little more prestige compared to the bachelor's degree. It further states that the burden of quenching this thirst for learning is being borne primarily by the nation's huge public systems of higher education which are expanding facilities, establishing branches and blanketing their states with campuses in an unprecedented explosion of growth.
