Abstract

The article reports that since New York World Journal Tribune (WJT) ended in May 1967, the New York Times and the New York Daily News, both have printing capacity and competence, seemed likely put out an afternoon paper. However, it notes that some observers see that neither of the two had ever had any intention on bringing out new paper, instead of only wanting to discourage anyone who venture into the afternoon field. Nevertheless, the New York Post inherits the afternoon pro tern.
