Abstract

The article reports on the increasing racial disturbances caused by social inequality and poor living conditions in the U.S. It cites the riot involving African Americans in several states such as the bombing of buildings in Nebraska, the looting of White American-owned stores in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the street loitering by Puerto Ricans in New Jersey. Particular focus is also given to the efforts of former presidential adviser McGeorge Bundy to address the social problem in the country.
