Abstract

The article discusses the preparations being done at the town of Grenoble in France for the 1968 Winter Olympic games. According to Michel Jacquemain, who is among the officials in charge of preparing the sites, they aim to achieve perfection in their work. French Olympic Committee President Armand Massard said that the reputation of France is at stake in hosting the games. The political history of the town of Grenoble as well as its development are discussed.
