Abstract
- The article presents the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) women's track and field meet at the Worthington High School Athletic Field outside Columbus, Ohio. It cites Marie Mulder who led in the Inaugural 1,500 and was named the finest woman distance runner in America. The Tennessee State University Club won the team title and the other winners include Janell Smith in the 440, Willye White in the long jump and RaNae Bair in the javelin. The standouts including Marie Mulder will compete in the U.S.-Russia meet in Kiev, Russia on July 31 and August 1, 1965.
