Abstract

Muon spin rotation experiments performed on a series of La[sub 2-x]Ca[sub 1+x]Cu[sub 2]O[sub 6] (x=0.12, 0.16, 0.22) superconductors indicate the existence of the magnetic correlations in the superconducting phase below T∼6 K. The increase in sample inhomogeneity strengthens these correlations. For the superconducting phase, the extrapolated σ(0) values fulfill the universal Uemura relation between T[sub c] and σ(0). © 2000 American Institute of Physics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
