Automating Individualized Coaching and Authentic Role-play Practice for Brief Intervention Training.

The article presents a study which evaluated the brief intervention training which helps in reducing alcohol abuse by automating individualized coaching and role-play practice. Comparison of STAR Workshop and a web-based, self-guided electronic book for training the Engage for Change (E4C) brief intervention protocol. Results indicated that STAR Workshop is more accessible and cost-effective for students.
