Abstract
- The article explains the provisions of Lisbon Treaty relating to competition policy and its corresponding interpretation of the Article 102 Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) in Europe. It states that TFEU justifies the effects-based approach for the anti-competitive practices with the most harmful to the final consumers under the consumer welfare. It also highlights the interpretation of undistorted competition between the EU free and fair and unfair competition rules.
