Abstract

The article highlights the second electoral campaigns of the political parties in 1974 in Great Britain. It states that Liberal leader Harold Wilson claims that prosperity will return to Great Britain through the incoming tides of North Sea oil, which Energy Minister Eric Varley has appraised at 250 billion dollars. Meanwhile, the campaign strategy of Conservative leader Ted Heath is bedeviled by poor planning and tactical errors, in which his two-bus procession is silently, gloomily and unnoticed.
