Abstract

The article focuses on the different impacts of the global inflation. It notes that rising prices and low wages and profits have greatly affected Americans and have reduced the living standards in the country, and argues that such inflation would result to the weakening confidence in the democratic governments around the world. In addition, it notes that European countries, the U.S. and Asian nations have attempted to address the worldwide inflation by implementing wage-price controls and other tax and monetary tinkering, however, these efforts have been proven to be unsuccessful.
