Abstract
- The article reports on the terrorist group, Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA), which hit San Francisco, California, and took responsible for the two crimes in the Bay Area. It focuses on the second crime of SLA wherein they abducted Patricia Hearst, daughter of Randolph A. Hearst, chairman of board of Hearst Corp. It is said that SLA has no demands and that only Patricia, branded as the daughter of a "corporate enemy of the people," had been "served an arrest and would be executed if anyone tried to rescue her. According the law-enforcement authorities, which includes a team of FBI kidnap-case specialists, they have speculated that the abduction was the demand for the release of two men, Joseph Remiro and Russell Little, who was involved with SLA's first crime, the murder of Marcus Foster.
