Abstract

The article offers information on the thoroughbred horse named Secretariat in the U.S. It notes that the regal thoroughbred has a neck like a buffalo, a back as broad as a sofa and his chest is so deep and wide that it takes a custom-made girth. However, it states that despite the horse's built, he has finished first in 11 of 14 races and won 804,202 dollars since last July 4, 1973 more than any other single competitor in any sport in 1972 as a mere two-year-old. Moreover, it mentions that Secretariat is the first winner of the American horse racing in Belmont.
