Abstract

The article discusses the increasing frequency of women's taking of masculine prerogative and the effort of Police Inspector Charles Peterson to stop prostitution in Midtown North of Manhattan, New York. It states that several women got the positions that once exclusively belonged to men including Judith Ann Neuffer as Navy pilot and Emily Joyce Howell as an airline pilot. It says that Peterson distributes notes to prostitutes, in which he states his concern for them.
