Abstract
- The article discusses the development that took place at San Clemente after U.S. President Richard Nixon took charge of the place. It states that not many people have seen Nixon in San Clemente but his presence effects the businesses around the place. According to Nelda Sharp, owner of Nelda's Card Shop, the president is very simple to get out of the car to purchase things on his own. It state that there are several businesses which are profited by Nixon coming to the White House which includes Alpha Beta Supermarket that sometimes provide food, Patio Furniture Center that sold tables and chairs for the Western White House's outdoor mess, and Pharmacist William Taylor who sold Russell Stover candy to the president.
