Abstract
- The article discusses the role of advertisement in environmental control. It is stated that several companies including International Paper Co., Procter & Gamble Co., and Westinghouse Electric Co., are using sdvertisements to establish their credentials as nature's protectors. It is stated that Armco Steel Corp. has launched an advertisement to project its Ashland, Kentucky, as an environment concerned plant. Experts state that environment theme can have competitive disadvantages for companies.
