Abstract
- The article presents a study which investigates the role of the feeding behavior of inland waders to determine their return rates on stopover sites on autumn migration. It mentions the use of Pearson correlation to examine the relationship of the return rate to the refueling rate of the wood sandpiper and common snipe in Poland. Results show that the feeding conditions determine the site fidelity in wood sandpipers but not in common snipe.
