Abstract

The article discusses the significance of the presence of television cameras in the U.S. House of Representatives. It mentions that the installation of television cameras adds fear to House leaders because they believe that it can affect the nature of the procedures, public image, and even the quality of the legislation the House produce. It stresses that the Americans followed the ways of Canadians after the House of Commons installed television cameras and started recording its proceedings. It states that the introduction of the said cameras presents a variety of problems that will to some extent disrupt the House.
