Abstract
- The article discusses child pornography in the U.S. It states that child pornography in the nation was not new, in which sales of child pornography-related products began to rise. It details the development of child pornography, from the use of young-looking women to underground sex magazines heavily stressing on the subject of incest and pedophilia. It states that the experiences of children involved in child pornography will scar them for life, and that they tend to become sexual abusing adults when they grow up. It also explains the difficulty in prosecuting individuals who were involved in child pornography due to difficulty in locating children involved to prosecution under obscenity laws, which do not distinguish children from adults as pornography models.
