Abstract

The article focuses on the rise of new Communist renegades in Europe. It mentions the conference of European Communist Parties in East Berlin, Germany in November 1975, wherein the Russians in Moscow, Soviet Union highlighted the disarray of Communism in Europe. In the summit, Moscow failed to consider the growing independence of some of the most powerful Western Communist parties and the Eastern Europe's mavericks, Rumania and Yugoslavia. It says that as a result, European Communism has divided into two camps such as the side of Soviets, Czechoslovaks, Poles, Hungarians, Bulgarians, and East Germans, and the other side of Italians, Spaniards, Yugoslavs, and Rumanians. The differences in East Berlin grew when the East Europeans and Russians offered a draft document on traditional ideology.
