Abstract

The article discusses the changes that happened in the town of Butte, Montana. It mentions that there has been a lot of changes that occurred in the area, which include the disappearance of its gambling joints and whorehouses, the failure of its mining sector which boosted the economic growth of the place in the previous years and the passing out of industrial firms. It affirms that many residents in the town fled in search for employment and many of its residents became arsonist and burn their own properties for the sake of its insurance.
