Abstract
- Criticizes the thought field therapy (TFT) postulated by psychologist Roger J. Callahan and the case studies provided by Callahan that are insufficient in establishing the efficacy of the alternative approach. Employment of subjective ratings in the case studies; Pseudoscience nature of TFT; Basis of heart rate variability evaluation on erroneous premises; Insufficiency of case studies in validating efficacy claims.
