- Explores the diversity of temperate plants in East Asia. Broad plant diversity in the region due to great climatic diversity and opportunities for allopathic speciation afforded by repeated fragmentation and coalescence of populations through Late Cenozoic ice-age cycles; Modeling of a continuous vegetation map through various geological periods.
