Abstract
- The article reports on the recovery in the construction markets in Asian developing countries. It states that China is expected to grow by 9.6% in 2010 driven by the four trillion renminbi stimulus plan with 3.08 million renminbi spent on construction. It says that construction market in Thailand is expected to grow under 5% in 2010 as well as in Singapore and Vietnam. However, construction activity in Japan is expected to fall in 2010 according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
