Simon Forman’s Notes on Macbeth—The Alternative Reading.

The article focuses on the book "Bocke of Plaies and Notes therof per Forman for Common Pollicie," by Simon Forman and discusses his observations of the performances of several of dramatist William Shakespeare's plays. A comparison is made between Forman's notes on "Macbeth" and the text in the First Folio. The writings of Raphael Holinshed are also used as a comparison of Forman's accuracy in rendering the play.
