Abstract

When militant high school students pressed the Cincinnati Board of Education with their specific demands, the superintendent of schools responded by helping those students and others to organize for study and positive action. One of the seven committees thus formed, the Polls Committee, designed a questionnaire which registered various student opinions on contro versial issues. The following report of this group's findings in the Cincinnati senior high schools includes data on, and analysis of, youth ful attitudes in the context of racial tension in the urban environment.
