Abstract

The author reflects on the pressure faced by science scholars in publishing researches in science education journals and other implications concerning the publications. He argues that scholars respond to pressure by regularly publishing their works which creates contradictions among scholars. He also notes the importance of h-index in lessening the complexity of scholarly productivity and the indications of excess publishing in science education and its effects to the quality of the journals.
