Abstract
- In this article the author discusses the development of oropharyngeal dysphagia in multiple sclerosis (MS) patients. The author mentions that the study made use of 101 MS patients wherein 32% of patients were found to be infected with dysphagia. The author adds that the study give unclear result regarding the impact of dysphagia to MS patients whether it increases the risk of pneumonia or made the patients to be impaired while suggesting its use as a reminder for early detection of dysphagia.
