Prediction Equation for Calculating Fat Mass in Young Indian Adults.

The article presents study on the development of a prediction equation for fat mass calculation among young Indian adults. The study shows significant difference for height and weight and non significance for fat mass and log in males. It finds out that fat mass' mean difference from the derived equation was 0.16 kilogram for females and -0.3 kilogram for males. These results suggest the association of higher body fat and obesity with increased adverse health event risk and greater mortality.
