Abstract

The article presents a study which analyzes the physicochemical characteristic and structure of cytochrome c<subscript>554</subscript> from Vibrio parahaemolyticus strain RIMD2210633. The study compared the terrtiary structure and physicochemical properties of Vibrio cytochrome c<subscript>554</subscript> with Pseudomonas cytochrome c<subscript>552</subscript> by expressing the cytochrome c<subscript>554</subscript> which was expressed in Escherichia coli. The results showed that both cytochromes can denote an electron to an electron carrier.
