Abstract
- Odontogenic myxoma is a rare benign but locally aggressive odontogenic tumor. This report describes a case of odontogenic myxoma producing diffusely dispersed calcified products in a pattern reminiscent of a fibro-osseous lesion of the jaw. Differential diagnoses for myxoid lesions of the jaws also are discussed. This paper highlights how an odontogenic myxoma can produce a large amount of calcified products to mimic a fibro-osseous process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
