Abstract

The article discusses the importance of proper leadership in relation to the scandals faced by golfer Tiger Woods. It refers to the golfing industry and the amount earned by Woods not only from golf championships but also from commercial endorsements and personal appearances. It describes Wood's infidelity scandal and how it led to even worse accusations such as the use of performance enhancing drugs while emphasizing the importance of leaders being observant in keeping their words and deeds. It also suggests that executives should handle undesirable states through self-reflection and that one should always consider the insight of those that may keep their actions and decisions in check.
