Abstract

The article discusses a study on the agreement of reports from pediatric brain tumor patients and their parents as examined using the Pediatric Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Childhood Brain Tumor Survivors (pedsFACT-BrS). A multicenter project to acquire statistically adequate populations of child and adolescent brain tumor (BT) patients was conducted. The study cited that child and adolescent BT patients' parent proxy reports provide clinicians with valid information on the overall quality of life in relation to general health.
