Abstract
- This section offers art news briefs. The Brooklyn Museum will host an exhibition of the works by Carl Erikson, who died in June 1958, which will run until April 19, 1959. Prominent people and the "American Artist" magazine editorial team attended the opening of the Taubes show at Grand Central Art Gelleries in New York City, where Claire Booth Luce and the Southampton Museum were among the purchasers. The Metropolitan Museum of Art displays the exhibit "People Looking at Art," which features prints, photographs and paintings of people responding to art.
