Abstract

The article discusses the style of painter Louis Bouché. Bouché's customary procedure is said to be to go to the appointed locale with a tracing pad, studies the subject and makes a diagrammatic drawing. He was awarded the Carol H. Beck medal for his work "Wildflowers," which was exhibited at the 1944 Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts Annual.
