Abstract
- In order to obtain an analytical solution of the step-recovery diode as a harmonic multiplier, various models of the diode have been used by several authors without sufficient explanation. This paper examines and compares the properties of these models by taking as a reference Kotzebue's experimentally verified model. An improvement of the 'resistive' model is also put forward.
