Abstract
- The article looks at 18th century naturalist Daniel Rolander, focusing on his reputation within the scientific community and his relationship with natural scientist Carl Linnaeus. The author comments on Rolander's exploration of South American forests to investigate the theories of Linnaeus, his mentor. Rolander's journal and specimens from his travels are reviewed.
