Abstract: The article offers information on the potential of hydrogen (pH) data scale unification and cruise adjustments by the CARbon IN the Atlantic (CARINA). It presents the details of the secondary quality control of pH in the CARINA database and the scale unification to Sea-Water Scale at 25 degrees Celsius. It describes the procedures of quality control, including crossover analysis among cruises in the CARINA dataset.
