BMI Research: Asia Monitor: South Asia Monitor: Cautious 4.1% Growth Estimate.

The article reports that the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) had released its initial estimate of fiscal year 2009-2010 real gross domestic product (GDP) in June 2010 which shows a 4.1% increase. In addition, the transport, storage and communication, and wholesale and retail trade sectors grew 4.5% and 5.1%, respectively. On the contrary, the country's finance and insurance industry declined 3.6%.
