Abstract
- The article presents a study to examine the effect of physiological hypoxia in leukemia cells. It observes that the functional consequences of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK) activation on acute myeloid leukemia cells (AML) adjusted to hypoxic conditions. It concludes that the physiological hypoxia helps in promoting lipid raft and PI3K-regulated mechanism of MAPK 42/44 in leukemia cells.
