Abstract
- The article reports on political conditions in Germany, as of the third quarter of 2010. Public support for Christian Democratic Union (CDU), led by Chancellor Angela Merkel, lost 6 percentage points in a poll conducted by Forsa. It is predicted that support for the party will deteriorate because of Merkel's support of the bailout package of the European Union (EU) for Greece.
