Abstract

We describe dense wavelength-division-multiplexing (DWDM) operation of a reconfigurable optical add-drop multiplexer subsystem module employing silica waveguide technology that is suitable for use with both fixed-wavelength and wavelength-selectable add-drop transceivers.
