Abstract

The article offers information on how to manage irrigation scheduling in order to attain profitability in onion production. It states that keeping the soil water potential within a narrow range of values are essential in maintaining a precise irrigation schedule. It mentions that soil water tension (SWT) is the basis for an effective irrigation scheduling method. Meanwhile, an irrigation onset criterion is dependent on soil, climate, and irrigation system.
