Abstract
- The article presents a study which examines the relation between the serum milk fat biomarkers pentadecanoic acid, heptadecanoic acid, and their total and a first myocardial infarction (MI). It states that the study collected biomarker fatty acid, physical activity, and dietary data to a large population-based cohort in Sweden. It is inferred that milk fat biomarkers were linked with a lower risk of developing a first MI, especially in women.
