Abstract
- The article reports on the release of standards from the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM) of the Royal College of Physicians for accreditation of occupational health services in Great Britain. The standards call for a safe, effective, quality occupational health service. The six areas of occupational health service provision they identified are relationships with purchasers and workers, business probity, facilities and equipment, information governance and people. They also recommended an assessment process for accreditation.
