Abstract: The article presents abstracts on topics related to novel applications of myocardial perfusion imaging, including the effect of insulin on myocardial blood in patients with type 2 diabetes and coronary artery disease, the effect of high-density lipoproteins (HDL) on myocardial perfusion in vivo and the impact of smoking cessation on coronary vasomotor response assessed with O-15 labeled water and positron emission tomography (PET) in healthy young smokers.
