INNOVATIONS IN CONTAINER GLASS PRODUCTION IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE.

A conference paper is presented on the general profile of Vetropack Holding AG, a glass manufacturing company in Europe. It explores the strategies adopted by the company which helped it gain its success despite the decline of other glass companies. It tells that the company took over the Nemsova plant in Slovakia in 2002 and developed it through efficient management and application of technology. Moreover, it says that the company had a good strategy, philosophy and knowledge of production.
