Abstract

The article discusses a study on the potential impact of the income management program included in the Social Security and Other Legislation Amendment Act of 2007 developed by the Australian government on store sales in the Northern Territory region. The use of interrupted time-series analysis in examining trends in store purchasing patterns relating to sales of tobacco and other commodities is mentioned. Statistical data showing the summary of average per capita monthly sales for each outcome measure studied including food and drink sales are given.
