Abstract
- The article focuses on the remediation of the St. Louis River/Interlake/Duluth Tar Superfund Site (SLRIDT Site) in Minnesota. It mentions the Superfund allocation of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1983, which uses federal funds for the cleanup of toxins including cyanide, mercury, and hydrocarbons. Furthermore, the SLRIDT Superfund Site cleanup became successful with the help of GNSS equipment which demonstrates the potential use of GNSS technology.
