Abstract
- The article discusses the impact which dual distribution and vertical integration in marketing organizations has in regards to marketing organizations. The part in which large manufacturing firms and small distribution firms play in regards to manufacturing and distribution in the U.S. is discussed. The relationship which manufacturing and distribution companies have with each other and the way in which this relationship has changed is discussed. According to the article, one of the changes which has occurred regarding distribution is the existence of dual distribution, in which a company distributes its products from more than one marketing organization.
