Abstract

This article describes the branding and packaging design project completed by Fitch Worldwide for Nissan Europe. It notes the Japanese sensibility underlying the new Nissan brand extension. There is a need for the packaging to conform to the experience, according to Simon Mariati of Fitch. He adds that the new Bento box looks simple but features several compartments inside. Lucy Unger of Fitch cites one of the founding principles of this new range of products and packaging.
